Sam Wild

 

 

Sam is a local contemporary dance artist who first started dancing at a local dance school. After training at Birmingham Ormiston Academy Sam went on to train at the University of Chichester in Contemporary Dance later joining mapdance and touring works by Yukiko Masui, Sarah Golding, Renauld Wiser, and Carrie Whittaker. 

 

Sam has performed at Resolution Festival 23 (The Place) for Iván Merino Gaspar as well as at Brighton Fringe for Camille Cooper in 2025. Choreographing work is where Sam feels her most self and enjoys incorporating her love for jazz and contemporary within her work. 

 

Since graduating, Sam has taught for a local Performing Art School in a wide range of styles as well as supporting Secondary pupils as a Learning Support Assistant in the classroom. Sam holds an enhanced DBS certificate.
